"Pro-life" vs "Pro-Choice"

Ironically, the so called "pro-life" supporters seem to be the most vocal proponents of the capital punishment, where as the so call "pro-choice" seem to be in favor of abolishing it. This sounds interesting. Is it just the case the case of "back-loading" or "front-loading" the number of lives?
